Synopsis:
Documentary about the life and career of a famous Italian cinematographer Carlo Di Palma. His father was a camera operator and his mother a florist and he entered world of film as a teenager when he got his first job on a film set. He worked on sets for directors such as Visconti, De Sica, Antonioni and many others. In time he became a cinematographer and some of his most famous films that he worked on are Divorce Italian Style (1961) by Pietro Germi, Red Desert (1964), Blow Up (1966) and Identification of a Woman (1982) by Antonioni. He was the cinematographer for Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) as well as some other films by Woody Allen.
