The heroes of the film are two young men in late twenties who have spent part of their childhood during WW II. IN post-war Germany they do not trust the older generation and resist social conventions that are expected of them. One of them lives on a farm of his parents and does not do anything at all, and the other works as a journalist in Düsseldorf. Together they spend their time hunting and cynically criticizing life in modern Germany.
This feature debut by Peter Schamoni won the Silver Bear in Berlin.
