Synopsis:

This film describes the Polish capital through the words and eyes of its visitors. The Debt

Synopsis:

In January 1999 in Warsaw the police find two bags with headless bodies in the river Vistula. The investigation shows that the murders are connected to the Russian underground and three friends, Adam, Stefan and Gerard. The story is based on real events, and this film won the Golden Lion at the Polish film festival in 1999.

This film tells the life story of a real person, a naïve polish painter, Nikifor who spent his life roaming round and painting in poverty. At first he tries to get rid of Włosiński, but soon they become friends… Krystyna Feldman won the award for Best actress at Polish film festival in 2004.

The Welts

The film won the Golden Lion in Cannes in 2004 and the audience’s award at the Polish film festival.
