Synopsis:
Using the creative solution of dividing the screen into two parts (so-called split screen), the director portrays two single mothers in their everyday fight to enable their children to have a better life. Recently divorced Adela is the young mother of a one-year-old boy who starts a new life by moving from a small town in north Spain to Madrid. She finds a job and moves in with Carlos and Inés. Antonia is Inés’ mother, a widow who tries to find her place in the lives of her three grown-up daughters.
